10 Skincare Mistakes That Age Your Face

June 6, 2016

If you want to achieve a top body shape, you need to put quite a lot of hard work. My husband and I love dancing Tango. To achieve best results we keep practicing and taking lessons. It takes a lot of time management and consistent effort to get best results and ultimately enjoy them! Skin care routine is no different and should not be less important than brushing your teeth everyday or exercising. It should be your lifestyle priority. Here is my advise to avoid common mistakes:

  1. Going to bed with make up on. The more often you do this the more oil and impurities collected on your skin clog your pores making them larger and increasingly visible with age. Once your collagen levels decline, the pore won’t return back to its smaller size and skin becomes more prone to inflammation.
  2. Using wrong cleanser for optimal condition. I recommend an anti-aging cleanser a luxurious foaming cleanser from Nu Skin that combines cleansing and toning into a single step. It includes AgeLOC Proprietary Blend—targets the sources of aging, Betaine retaining water and increasing skin hydration and mild surfactants and glycerin that cleanses the skin while maintaining the skin’s natural lipid barrier and adding moisture to the skin
  3. Sleeping on a cotton pillowcase. Switch to silk to prevent from permanent creases on your skin.
  4. Not wearing sunscreen everyday. Sunscreen should be part of your daily routing. It should also be broad spectrum, which means it helps to shield you from UVA rays (as well as UVB) which are known to cause photoaging of the skin. I recommend our moisturizer AGELOC RADIANT DAY SPF 22 with several unique botanicals such as Jojoba Esters, Bambusa Vulgaris Leaf/Stem Extract, Pisum Sativum (Pea) Extract, Narcissus Tazetta Bulb Extract, Schizandra Chinensis Fruit Extract, Butyrospermum Parkii (Shea Butter).
  5. Exfoliating too frequently. When your skin is over-scrubbed, the oil production actually speeds up because skin’s natural repair mechanism is put into overdrive – two to three times per week is sufficient for exfoliation.
  6. Using dirty make up brushes. Keeping your brushes clean will ensure no dirt and old makeup keep accumulating.
  7. Popping pimples. When people try to do it themselves, they squeeze from the side which ends up in infection going down deeper into the pore. Best solution is deep cleansing with our GLACIAL MARINE MUD MASK with 50 beneficial minerals and trace elements, including zinc and sea botanicals.
  8. Not getting enough sleep. When the skin is getting less than optimum rest, it becomes dull and pale with under-eye circles. A lack of sleep can be so stressful that it can cause our bodies  to generate free radicals.
  9. Eating a bad diet. Include veggies with colors in them indicating presence of antioxidants.
  10. Not using moisturizer or using low quality moisturizers that clog your pores. It is vital that even oily skin gets moisture because without it, skin will overcompensate for the loss of hydration [with more oil], leading to breakouts and an uneven skin texture. Remember: Moisturizing adds water to the skin, not oil. Recommended moisturizer for only $26.00 is an excellent NaPCA MOISTURIZER with vitamin E and the natural humectant NaPCA offersexcellent absorbency level and lightness.
